Billing

How Shipeasy bills — plans, the monthly/annual interval, usage overage, downgrades, and the prepaid credits that power the Jarvis assistant.

Everything billing lives in one place: Project → Settings → Billing. Your subscription, payment method, plan limits, live usage, and the Jarvis assistant's credit balance are all managed from that tab — there is no separate billing flow.

The dashboard is authoritative

Prices and allowances below are illustrative and can change. The Billing tab shows your live plan, the exact amounts, and where your usage stands against every limit. Treat it as the source of truth.

Plans

PlanPriceFor
Free$0 / foreverSide projects and small teams — generous caps, no card.
Pro$49 / mo (or $39 / mo billed annually)Teams shipping experiments weekly — full stats, no seat tax.
Business$199 / mo (or $159 / mo billed annually)Governance and scale — SAML/SSO, RBAC, audit, holdouts, warehouse export.
EnterpriseContact salesCommitted volume, SCIM, data residency, dedicated support + SLA.

Flags, configs, issues, team members, and Autopilot runs are unlimited on every tier, and flag evaluations are never metered — you're only billed for analytics events past your monthly credit (see overage). Pro and Business include a 14-day free trial. The full picture — resource caps, retention, governance, and tier-gated features — is on the pricing page and in Plan limits & quotas.

Upgrading

Pick Pro or Business in the plan picker and check out — payment runs through Stripe, and the upgrade takes effect immediately. Moving between Pro and Business is prorated instantly. There's nothing to redeploy: changing plans re-paces your fleet through the next KV rebuild. Once subscribed, Manage billing opens the Stripe customer portal, where you can update your card, download invoices, or cancel.

Monthly vs annual

Toggle the billing interval in the plan picker. Annual is cheaper per month but billed once a year. Switching monthly → annual or annual → monthly is deferred to the end of your current period — your existing plan stays active until then, with no refund for the remaining term. A banner on the Billing tab shows any scheduled switch and lets you cancel it before it applies.

Usage & overage

Paid plans include a large monthly event allowance; past it you're billed for the overage at a COGS-anchored, per-million rate. Flag evaluations are never metered on any plan — they're free, forever.

Nothing is ever dropped

Event usage is notify-only on paid plans — events always flow, even past your included credit. You're notified at 80% and 100%, and any overage is billed at the rates above via Stripe metered usage. The Usage page shows your activity over the last 30 days.

Downgrading

Downgrading to Free is scheduled to the end of your billing period — paid features keep working until then, and the Billing tab shows the effective date with an option to resume. Before the switch lands, the dashboard previews what a downgrade would affect (running experiments, enabled flags, and live configs over the Free caps) so there are no surprises.

Jarvis assistant credits

The in-dashboard Jarvis assistant is metered separately with prepaid credits, not the subscription fee. Each plan ships with a monthly credit allowance; you can top up anytime from the same Billing tab (larger packs include bonus credits, and purchased credits never expire). Read-only browsing is cheap; longer reasoning, doc search, and multi-step setup flows cost more. When the balance hits zero the assistant pauses its write and reasoning actions and prompts you to top up — your flags, experiments, and data are unaffected.

See Credits & metering for exactly how credits are deducted and what happens at zero.
